Not Found. Returned when groupId does not match an existing group.

Conflict. The group has more member rules than can be cleared in one call; move them out first.

Internal Server Error. The group still exists in every case and retrying the delete is the correct recovery, but how far the cascade got differs by message. A lookup, member-count, or member-load failure changes nothing at all. A partial member-clear aborts the delete deliberately, so some member rules are already unassigned and the rest are not - that abort is what keeps a rule from ever pointing at a group that no longer exists. A failure of the delete itself comes after every member rule was successfully unassigned, leaving the group in place with no members.
